Dahlias

Today I spent my morning watching Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

I opted to watch on my mobile app so that I could watch it while sitting outside in the shade.

It was a service most befitting HRH and I do love all the pageantry.

After the next week of official mourning ends, it will be interesting to see how Charles sets the tone for the “new” monarchy and how the people at large will react especially given that we are on the brink of a recession.

Since I had gotten off to a “couch potato” start I decided to just go with it and binge watched Netflix all afternoon. Not the best way to start the week but I’m using the excuse of the extreme heat being back, and I’m sticking to it. ;-)
