Memorial

I passed these flowers at a war memorial on the way to work, there were various bouquets lying, but the ones which were fading seemed more appropriate now the Queen’s funeral is over.
Except, I did not have to be at work! I knew I had an extra day off this week, as I missed the bank holiday, but I thought it was Thursday I was off. The moral of this story is, when you are on holiday don’t check your emails on your mobile phone after a couple of glasses of wine.
