Fame at last?

This is my colleague Colette. She is pretty much at the top of my "phone a friend" list at work especially when there is a question about how things are or how things should be with regard to medicines in hospital. She is always knowledgeable, sensible and happy to answer my (often stupid) questions.

She was being filmed today for a training package that is under development. A small group of us have been involved and we needed to find someone to record a short piece on safe prescribing. Colette's name seemed to be top of everyone's list. Even better than that, she agreed to do it without bribery, coercion or threats. She wasn't upset by the ridiculously short notice or the changing brief. So I tagged along today to offer moral support (which wasn't required).

And what a star; no script, no auto cue, no problem when the time was cut to a strict 2 minute maximum. I was seriously impressed. And nice to get a chance for a coffee and chat before we started. We work in different parts of the city so normally only interact by phone or email. Thanks, Colette!
