Honey harvest

Rebecca now must do the bee manipulations since my brain haemorrhage, and a brilliant job she has done,
Our latest bumper crop is a full super of wild flower honey. In the main, blackberry, the darker honey (extras) most likely heather. 
The rest is all wild flower.
Each frame weighs on average 1.5kg There are 9 frames to spin. (Ten in a super). In all 13.5kg = say 26lb honey. that is 26  x 1lb jars
Super market honey, in the main is from rape. strong and sweet. 
Muck... when you have tasted wild flower honey, its hard to go back. 
I used to sell before when i had more colonies now, i give a few away to neighbours etc, as it does act as an anti hay fever remedy if you live within three miles. 
A busy day ahead for Rebecca spinning, filtering and jarring.
