Dinorwic slate quarry

We went a bit further afield today - to Snowdonia.  Beautiful drive there, through stunning scenery on the Llanberis Pass.  We parked up at the National Slate Museum, and walked up into Padarn Country Park, among all the old slate works there.  Beautiful woodland, fabulous views, and really interesting to see the old slate cottages, as well as various bits of machinery still in situ.
