Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Artists and Art

It was hard to schedule but today was the day for the 3 of us to meet at one of the retirement homes in Seattle for lunch….  Margaret (name tag from her new beautiful penthouse home) visits us on their sailboat every summer on the island… she is an excellent and creative quilter , using many of her own printed fabrics and doing all the quilting.     Liz is a prolific and eclectic  artist and the dear widow of my favorite painting teacher at the UW.   It’s her print of the cats and birds.   It was a lovely catch up and I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful art in that building as well as Margaret’s new apartment.    (But I don’t need to live there…I can also look at their work on my own wall! :-))
More bad air from wild fires here today.  Starting to clear.
