In the dark corner of the garden

These Clivias are flowering under bushes behind the carport. I have been digging them up for years around the garden as they had self seeded and become a nuisance along with Agapanthus. Very difficult to clear away. As they prefer shade I left some in odd corners and they do make a dramatic display. As I dig them out so I can plant other things I notice that our neighbour is employing professional gardening help and  has planted rows of Clivias, mostly in the sun where they will not look good most of the year.
