Checking out …

….. Mt Earnslaw, at the head of Lake Wakatipu.

Blipper <flying> & I headed out of Queenstown today, along the road leading north to Glenorchy.

The blip photo was taken at Twenty Five Mile Creek, just north of Bennett’s Bluff, the mountain in the distance is Mt Earnslaw, and yes, that’s Missy in the foreground.

We had a wonderful day of stopping just when and where we felt like it, stopping by the Glenorchy Wharf Barn for our lunch and Mrs Woolies for a coffee before heading back home.

A mysterious Red Admiral fluttering circles around us both, and actually landing on me twice, had us both simultaneously thinking of our dear friend Maureen, and how she’d have loved to be with us. We shared many memories too. It was a very special day; one to treasure. Thank you P.
