Backblip: Reunited!

We had an excellent flight with Air Transat from Manchester to Toronto: no delays at bag drop or security, and the flight was comfortable and on time with good food (for an aeroplane anyway) even in economy. The only slight nuisance was that my Editor was randomly selected for a Covid test on arrival (we'd already supplied our evidence of full vaccination which meant that it wasn't routinely necessary) which caused a little delay after we arrived. However Son#1 met us at the airport which was lovely and he drove us to the testing station on the way to their house. We await the result but we'll be surprised if it's positive - after all we both had our 4th jabs (with bivalent vaccine) a week ago. And when we arrived at their house we got a tremendous welcome from Granddog Oona so she just had to feature in in today's blip.
