A Sad Day

Today the tree surgeons came and took down all our ash trees as we had been told that they were getting dangerous due to die-back.  There were nine of them, each about 65ft tall and they were shedding boughs whenever the wind blew.  Once I have cleared up the mess I shall be replanting.  I am thinking of replacing them with beech and hazel trees.
