By George

Just outside the WA wheat-belt town of Narrogin, this stately Salmon Gum (Eucalyptus salmonophloia) has been named in honour of forester and conservationist George Brockway. We are staying in Narrogin for 2 nights, and came across this tree while exploring the district.  As we drove back to Narrogin, I photographed this patch of Blue Leschenaultia, flowering by the roadside (extra).
