Golfing

CyclopsJnr played with his friend R this morning.

After lunch we went to the Museum of Communication in Burntisland to see their "100 years of broadcasting" exhibition.  It's quite a wee museum, but there were some fun things.  He sent and decoded some morse, played with a speaking tube, and we could even speak to each other on old dial-operated telephones.  You could see the relays and actuators in the exchange moving as you dialed!  The extra shows him doing a weather forecast to a TV camera and watching himself on screen!

We played at the park in Burntisland for a bit where some kids had a giant white rabbit on a lead (this thing was the size of a collie - it was huge).  He was pleased to stroke its ears.

Next we went to Adventure Island Crazy Golf in Dunfermline and played 18 holes.  We had great fun.  Our favourite was number 17 where a good first shot gets your ball into a small stream which takes it down to the green on a lower level and disappears down a grate, leaving your ball to roll straight into the hole.  We played air-hockey and a reactions (hit the lit button) game too.

At home he played with R again while dinner cooked.
