A Day that did not go to Plan

This is where I spent most of the day. There was me thinking Id picked up a rash swimming in Windermere but no,  I've got shingles and needed  a prescription for anti viral drugs on a Saturday.  Its made me very tired so there'll not be any adventurous Blips for a week or two.

I've learned that if you had chicken pox as a child the virus lingers in your body for ever and one in 4 of us will get an attack of shingles at some point, usually when we are over 50. Other people can't catch  shingles from me me but someone who's never had chicken pox or been vaccinated  can catch chicken pox if they come into contact with my blisters.
