Insects in the evening light

The picture shows a column of gnats celebrating above our gate. What I was celebrating with this photo was that I had cleared away an unsightly heap of rusty old barbed wire that we’ve been pulling out of the delapidated fences recently. So it’s a photo to remember what’s NOT there!
