Two new kids on the block this week.  

Today,  L and I brought home Edie, our new rescue kitten. She has been through quite a lot in her short life but we’re no strangers to that, so  she should fit in here very well. 

Earlier in the week, in Melbourne,  little Florence was welcomed into the world. I am now a great aunt. 

Those two announcements should probably be the other way around, what with one being an actual human.
