A toast

A very frustrating day on the work front; I took the laptop in to the office for its bi-monthly reunion with a blue network cable and it was not recognised by The System - it took a couple of hours before the help desk could figure out what had happened.

Tooth-gnashing aside, it was very nice to say hello to visiting blipper emmala in the basement setting up her training session for the day. Then later in the evening we went up the Walk to meet with etherghost and SB plus Malc who joined us later. It was good to be out of the house and away from the phone for an evening.

Earlier in the day M had heard the sad news that her sister-in-law Julie had passed away - we raised a glass of fine malt in honour of her and D's sister Judith.
