Collation and Induction

Today I attended the service at which the Rev Aaron Kennedy became the new Vicar of Otley. It was conducted by the Bishop of Leeds and was a very warm and community-centred occasion. We loved it when the new Vicar’s small son dropped his drink bottle at the feet of the Bishop, who smartly sent it back to him with his crook; I wonder if he’s a golfer? In this photo it looks as if not many were there, but I took it at the end. The church was full.
