"As Promised...Another Slice Of Time.."

...Back in the stables again today, and here is the Old Hand-Operated Drill, (I think it would have been a lot of fun operating that drill) together with part of the Old Wheel already featured previously, and at the back - you will see some very horse Old Collars, probably for a Clydesdale - someone will know.

On the far right - you will notice the Old Bridles - or parts thereof...

...I still remember the old Collars from the draft horses, in our own stables, the leather all hard and dry and covered with dust, hanging very high it seemed, like these, and as well, some with straw from the inside of them peeping out of the hard leather- splitting, from lack of use, and as well, the leather not having been polished up, but then, that's where the old collars ended up wasn't it, when the horses were of no further use - hanging in the stables for the sparrows to rest on, and at night - the bats...

...But we still remember them, and appreciate what they represented - all the miles and miles, they would have travelled around the necks of the big horses in their hard days of work - long ago...
