Sunrise surf at the Cowrie Hole

I couldn't make up my mind what to blip. This or a more traditional seascape looking across the Cowrie Hole to Nobbys. Both taken at sunrise. I haven't done a surfing shot in a while and the waves were just so spectacular you got this one in the golden morning light. A largish pod of dolphins caught a few waves after this guy got his but not good enough shots to blip. One minute they were there and the next gone.

The surfers were like lemmings coming out of the cracks and woodwork to catch these waves. Almost standing room only at Bar Beach and Newcastle Beach. That bleak wind had dropped so it turned out an absolutely glorious day and here it is now Friday evening and the weekend is almost here. Hope you have a good one.
