Bitten to bits...

... a single leaf with just enough substance remaining to recognise what it used to be. 

An unusual, almost abstract, subject from our morning walk. This single green leaf was surrounded by the remaining brown leaves.

For once, the overcast conditions provided enough suitable light for the subject I was photographing.
