Mallard - 98

We went over to Knutsford for a wander. As usual we went for a walk around The Moor where I took the photo of the female mallard.

More unusually we spotted a pair of ducks we couldn't identify at all. Having checked it looks like they are black bellied whistling ducks (bird 99). They are native to America so must have escaped from somewhere (possibly Martin Mere). It looks like they were here this time last year as well and as I spotted them in the wild I am adding them to my blip bird list for the year.
