The bridge emerges

.... from the depths of Grimwith reservoir.
After a dry summer, all the reservoirs are rather depleted of water. My last blip showed the low water level at Swinsty reservoir.
This morning we walked around Grimwith reservoir and were surprised at how low the water level was here. This old bridge has re-emerged from the waters for the first time in a number of years. I was surprised at how intact it still is.
You can see its setting in the first extra. The second shows how low the water is. Last time we visited the water was at the -1 metre mark!
As we walked around the far end of the reservoir it became rather misty and damp when I took the third extra. Normally you can hardly see any of the concrete channelling.
A lot of rain is required!
