Friendly neighbours

Didn’t rush off this morning and the drive was good. Stopped at Gloucester services and it was heaving. We had lunch in one of their outside shacks, good idea for dog owners. I had a look in the farm shop as last time we called here they had a nice range of knitwear, and I was surprised to find they had a sweater I have looked at on line. It looked lovely and was cheaper to buy in the shop than order direct. A purchase was made.
The farm site we are on is very quiet with only one other unit. We walked into the village, two houses and a church, and then back via a path that took us past the horses. Hetty was quite taken by the little one, but didn’t like it when he got too close.
So warm that we sat outside with a G&T reading when we got back.
Interesting watching a group of cats wandering around the farm buildings, not yet spotted by Hetty.
