Club tie!

Will is now u13 in rugby, so a youth and no longer a mini, as such he has to wear shirt and spot the new club tie (complete with hedgehogs!).

First match of the season, a friendly in Enfield. He played well, needs to tackle lower to avoid getting knocked out by someone's elbow or knee. However he has improved his tackling from last year. Nice day to be watching, sunny, but I did still have a big coat on.

From there we went to Harlow and collected the 'new to him' hockey keepers kit. It's very good quality, should last him until he is 5'8"-5'10". The woman selling was happy to talk him through it all and to chat to him. Sounds like she was East of England standard at least. He listened to her and was slightly giddy about having his own kit when we got back into the car. Now he has to practice getting it on and off before Hertfordshire county trials next week.

Last part of the days was spent watching the rerelease of Avatar on IMAX 3d. Partly because Will would not be able sit through a film that long at home (we tried before our Disney World trip) and partly because I never saw it on the big screen. I think Carys got most out of it though, I think she was living and breathing the jeopardy.
