Memorial Service for HM the Queen …

….. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Queenstown NZ.
The Vicar at St. Peter’s, David Wright, led a beautifully sensitive service in memory of Queen Elizabeth, remembering her life and recent death.
Many of the parishioners contributed, singing, reading excerpts from The Bible, and many from the congregation told of occasions when they’d met the Queen, all intriguing and even funny.

I met an old friend at the service, from the days when she & I taught at Wakatipu High School. Memories were shared, a lovely catch-up.
