A day in Edinburgh

We are staying with K (with the dog) which is a first. He seemed to settle into his new surroundings quickly enough and this morning we took him up Blackford Hill and into the Hermitage of Braid which was new territory for us, but good walking territory with some great views from the top of Blackford Hill.
We spent the rest of the day with A and his family. Evie and Arran enjoyed a gentle afternoons walk with re dog to the very grand Morton House (privately owned) which is about 20mins from Alasdair’s house at Fairmilhead.
