Surveying the Plantation!

Well, ok, it's hardly 'Tara' with cotton fields as far as they eye can see but it's our allotment. Actually it's not, it's our daughters but she now lives in the Forest of Dean so we are going to continue with it for this year.
The boys, doggy variety, love going to the allotment but this is the four of us taking a break from digging, weeding, raking and planting.
Over the past week we've caught up a lot on the weeding and we've planted Carrots, Onions and Peas.
We've got some other stuff in trays at home and when it's a bit bigger we'll take it down to the allotment to plant out.
We've also got a row of leeks that we left in over the winter. They survived and are good strong plants which we need to replant into water filled holes, as you do with leeks.
Raspberries, strawberries and parsley all survived and looking forward to another cupboard full of jam.
Oh, that reminds me, must get some beetroot in!
