A wet and windy Polzeath.

We stopped off here on our way to Grampound where we have an airbnb waiting. While Suzy was shopping i took this picture of the sea from the beach car park. The wind had really picked up overnight and the loose sand was stinging my face as the sea boiled angrily in the background. As far as i could see, no surfers today.
Grateful for a bracing wind, for apple upside down cake and ice cream for lunch and a welcoming view across fields at the place we had stayed when we learned our grandson had arrived safely into the world, back in May.
