Cardinal

This is a young male cardinal - born this spring/summer. He's just now getting his big boy feathers. The fact that his bill is not yet bright orange is the biggest giveaway re. his age. A little while ago, he looked like a female cardinal, but (again) without the orange bill - but now he's getting his bright red feathers.
