The dropped stitch

By Bodkin

The striped path

A walk along the sandy beach and then through woodlands.
It rained for a while. I discovered my waterproof trousers were not.
The afternoon cleared and we dried out before we arrived at our accommodation in Burghead.

M was very good at noticing things along the way - a bird or flower or a particular kind of moss. Her best observation of the day was the way glistening rain drops were caught in the sunlight as they dripped from the trees, even after the rain had stopped.

The extra is an interesting information board seen in Roseisle Forest.
