West village

Even when a park is small, its own landscape, letting you step aside for a bit, makes you see the city differently. Especially when trees are not bare. That glass building at a corner on Greenwich avenue with its rounded edges creates playful spotlit patches when the sun sets. The fountains aren't running yet, but kids chase pigeons, skipping between shards of light and shadow. The flow of traffic continues at the same pace, just that you are no longer part of it.
