Feather

Appointment in town followed by a trip out to the Boulder Bank.  It was rather odd - hardly any birds around........didn't see a single kingfisher and only saw 2 swallows.  There were a few terns ad seagulls but otherwise.......nothing.  In the absence of birds I turned to bugs......pond bugs.  Plenty of those about but it was this feather than caught my eye in the end.  I'll have another go at the bugs another time - they're actually quite fascinating.
