Gardner’s Warehouse

Over in Glasgow today for the launch of  ‘The Scottish Mental Illness Stigma Survey’ report, which was produced by See Me. The results make for very interesting reading, and reminds us how far we still need to go to end mental health stigma and self stigma. That said, there is a lot of positive stuff going on too.

Being over in Glasgow, allowed me to blip The Crystal Palace pub, in Jamaica Street, which was built at Gardeners Warehouse in 1855.

It was designed by John Baird, and echoed the iron frame and glass construction of Paxton’s Great Crystal Palace for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London.

The building is now a JD Wetherspoon’s pub!

I hope you have enjoyed today.
