It’s not always about making from scratch, sometimes it’s renewing or re-purposing something worn out or broken. I picked up this bowl as a throw away item and after a while on the lathe & with a bit of coaxing, re-shaping and re-finishing it’s come out rather nice. Extra of the profile.
