After the rain

A rose in our garden after some rain. We've not had much rain this summer and the town has introduced various water restrictions and we've been told without sustained and substantial rainfall we will run out this autumn.

This is a rose in the garden after a shower... we've been watering them with waste water from the kitchen for a few weeks now, and even though it had a sprinkle before I took this picture it's still very dry.

This is a back blip over a month later and we've had some rain since I took this, it's still been pretty feeble...
