Maple

The tiny newer leaves on the Japanese maple were the only thing I could find to silhouette.  Missed the early morning light for shadows and other silhouettes.  Luckily these little leaves were in the middle of the tree (and the only ones that were red) so that I could take them against the bright sunlight.

My people in Florida are constantly in my thoughts.  My uncle and cousins, my good friends Sandy and Bill and blippers Sheila, Maura, Wade and others.  This looks like a ferocious storm that will make a huge impact on the west coast near where my family are.
