Snowdonia

This is the view from the new Park & Ride near LLanfair PG (the place with the long name!). The suspension bridge looks quite different from this height and the snow is still hanging on at the tops of the hills.

I finally planted two rows of potatoes this morning, before breakfast - the weather looked as if there may have been rain on the way. After breakfast the sky had cleared so I put the washing out on the line, when the last towel was being pegged there was a ping and the line snapped, no worries though, soon repaired and no damage done!

Had a meeting at the Archives to discuss another aspect of the digitisation project, which may result in films being shown at an annual island event!

Temperature this afternoon was 14 degrees (57 Fahrenheit), cooler than yesterday and the prospect of rain. The howling gale has also returned.

Courgette, cucumber, red cabbage, dill and other seeds have germinated in the mini-greenhouse. No sign of the tomatoes yet!

The bank holiday weekend starts here - hope you all get a chance to enjoy the great outdoors! x
