Where is the sea?

Driving home yesterday afternoon and thought I'd pop down to a favourite, small, hidden away bit of interesting beach in Carnoustie. Occasionally there are little boats out but yesterday there was barely any sea so I caught a boat sitting on the sand! It was a very strange, windy and cloudy day. It is May - what else would one expect!! :)
