Ashness Bridge

Saturday Bike Ride (up a very steep hill).
It was a bit of a pilgrimage to visit this spot whilst in the area. My Mum had a framed sepia postcard of this view in her kitchen for as long as I can remember. There’s been a lot of growth in the vicinity since her photo was taken, it had a much clearer view of Derwentwater down below. Still a popular tourist spot though.
