Turbines

This is a shot of the experimental turbines at the back of my building. The one in front really intrigues me. It is a vertical turbine - set up so that it catches the wind from every direction without having to waste energy twirling to meet the headwind. In the background you can see a variety of other styles of turbine. All of these are monitored for performance.
