War Memorial, Victoria Park, Glasgow

Met a friend for a walk this afternoon in Victoria Park. 
The Partick and Whiteinch War Memorial looked beautiful in the sunshine. 
The granite cenotaph was created by sculptor Francis William Doyle and erected in 1922. It is topped by a bronze female figure with outspread wings standing on a globe holding out a wreath.
