Gable End Cottage

I've been looking at front doors this week.  With the sudden start of the cold weather we have been sharply reminded that our front door lets a gale through!  Martin has tried in vain to seal it with insulating tape over the years.

Since the kitchen conversion is going nowhere we thought we might treat ourselves to a new front door.  The double glazing about 10 years ago made a huge difference to heat retention, and what with the price of fuel set to rocket...

With my new eyes I noticed just how lovely this little cottage looks with the dramatic sky setting off the lovely yellow door.
