Stanley saga day two

We spent a sleepless night last night with Stanley coughing, so back to the vet’s this morning. The Vet was concerned  that he may have something lodged in his throat, so he wanted to investigate further. We left him in their capable hands and went home to await their call.

Three o’clock and the call came to say we could pick him up. The good news they didn’t find any foreign bodies but his larynx was very swollen and covered in gunk which they removed, a course of antibiotics and anti- inflammatory. He just needs to rest and only short walks for the next few days and hopefully he will be fine.
