Summer's over?

Well, it was today, a cloudy 21c with a shower here and there.
And yet, so many stores had beautiful plants like these on show. I wonder why.
Maybe because Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up in about a week.
Or was it because temps are expected to go back to the high 20's over the weekend and next week. 

In October.
