I got a Chistmas present 5 years ago which was a place on the waiting list for an allotment. Every year after that a man at the cooncil wrote to me and said that I had to write in to remain on the waiting list. I wrote in 3 years in a row and then in the fourth year I didn't. I guess they weeded me out. Hope that whoever got in is enjoying a cold one in their shed...
