A rescue mission.

I’m not a fan of Sulphur Crested Cockies but I felt sorry for this one today. He’d managed to get his wing caught in some mesh in our yard at the farm.
He wasn’t happy and my attempts to help did nothing to improve his mood.
I got him freed but he has a droopy wing which, although I’m confident he hasn’t broken anything, could indicate some muscle or nerve damage. He’s holding his wing a lot better after a few hours so I’ll see how he is tomorrow.
I’ve handled hundreds of SCCs over the years and it’s a miracle I’ve still got a full complement of digits.
