Gardd hydrefol

Gardd hydrefol ~ Autumnal garden

“Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being.”
—Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Welsh word of the day: 'hibernation' = 'gaeafgysgu' = literally 'wintersleep'

Mae'n teimlo, eto, fel mae'r ardd yn mynd i gysgu. Weithiau mae'n ymddangos y byddai'n dda i ddilyn y tymhorau a bron yn gaeafgysgu trwy'r misoedd oer, ond dydy ein bywydau ddim fel 'na. Rydw i wedi mynd yn ôl i fy ngwaith ar nenfwd Daniel, tra Nor'dzin addasu pâr o lenni ohono fe. Dim gaeafgysgu i ni.

It feels, again, like the garden is going to sleep. Sometimes it seems that it would be good to follow the seasons and almost hibernate through the cold months, but our lives are not like that. I've gone back to my work on Daniel's ceiling, while Nor'dzin adjusted a pair of curtains from it. No hibernation for us.
