Carved Room

National Trust Petworth
Our friends took us to Petworth this morning. First we had a walk in the deer park saw quite a lot of deer then went around to the main house. Had a look around the kitchen and servant’s building and had coffee and a scone. We then went around the house it is quite amazing and this grand room really stands out completely covered with Grinling Gibbons carvings from the 1690s and beautiful paintings.
Back to the caravan now started to pack things up as we are leaving tomorrow for a half way stop again on the way home.
Been a lovely day lots of sun and a few clouds at times. Cool feels like autumn now
