Walk and cake

In aid of Manorlands our local hospice.  Originally the walks (3,5,10 and 15 mile options) were organised by a local couple in memory of their daughter, they took place for 15 years but the couple felt that they were not able to continue organising it and the Bingley Support group were happy to take over.  Lots of baking and lots of helpers as well as lots of walkers made for a very successful day.
Army musician E and her mum did one of the walks, she was given a week off after the funeral, so it was great to see her and have a chat about the amazing experience
Then this evening we had friends for a meal, lovely to get together again.
