As well as a couple of giant embedded hymenoptera nests, there are a fair few smaller dangly ones near the same access points, a few of which I saved prior to skooshing the rest with wasp-nest-fluid. I've been checking the loft for activity but they all seem to be long-vacated, which makes the repeated and ongoing appearance of near-dead wasps on a particular square foot of living room carpet more puzzling.
